From On Stage to Online: Session 1
In Partnership with Trinity College London
Start Date: 25 Feb 2021 (Thursday), 8-10pm SGT
Part 1 of the Session: In Partnership with Trinity College London | Translating Your Performance to the Online Format
The move to allow for digital examinations provides both challenges and opportunities. The music industry is also quickly expanding their online presence, so this process puts you in touch with changes professionals are making as well. All in all, we explore new ways in which we can learn, develop, and grow.
Part 2 of the Session: SEA Music Academy Online’s Recording Clinics | Let’s See Your Videos!
In this series of clinics, we invite teachers and students to send in 5-10 minute videos of their performances, whether for an online performance, an online examination or competition. Directors from the Academy will look through and provide some recommendations for improvement, and discuss techniques and concepts that form a foundation for online recordings. We will also provide feedback on how well the music is coming through.
If you are registering as an active participant, please prepare your recording and submit the Google Drive/YouTube link to firstname.lastname@example.org before 15 February 2021.
