The Suzuki books have been used and loved by music teachers and students around the world for at least 50 years. The selection and sequence of the repertoire found within the books is one of the ingredients of the success of the Suzuki Method. This workshop will give a short overview of the main ‘ingredients’ of the Suzuki ‘recipe’ and then dive into several examples of the violin repertoire that demonstrate how the repertoire builds technique and musicality. The session will conclude with a Q&A segment.
