In this sharing session, Calvin explores the possibility of how musicians, performers, music therapists in the community, can collaborate and work together in the continuum of care in music. This will include important considerations to consider when serving in the community.
Calvin is a Board Certified Music Therapist, with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy, from Berklee College of Music. Upon returning to Singapore in 2017, he has been working in the special education setting, serving individuals with neuro-developmental disorders, and multiple disabilities. Calvin is President of the Association for Music Therapy Singapore (AMTS), leading the association in its efforts to raise awareness of music therapy in Singapore. Calvin believes in the importance of collaborating with community partners in a continuum of care.
